The project, supported by the National Geographic Society, is a long-term investigation into the downstream effects of the Green Revolution in Punjab, India.

Harsha Vadlamani is a photojournalist, documentary photographer, filmmaker, and National Geographic Explorer based in New Delhi and Hyderabad, India. He is a member of Panos Pictures and a recipient of Amnesty International UK’s Media Award for Photojournalism in 2022 for his photographs of the COVID-19 pandemic in rural India.
